Today we recognise those brave men and women of Australia’s rescue services and we’re setting ourselves a challenge to do more for them, starting with the Westpac Choppers. Since 1973 we’ve partnered with them in building a national service which has grown from 1 to 10 bases, saving more than 40,000 lives in the process.
Now we are raising more money, committing more of our time and have more branches rallying behind this effort than ever before. As our most ambitious initiative, we’re delivering more choppers, more patrol hours and more on-the-ground support. It’s one way we can do more for those who do so much for us.
