Westpac Banking Corporation (ABN 33 007 457 141, AFSL 233714) ("Westpac") has announced an offer (“Offer”) by Westpac of Westpac Subordinated Notes (“Westpac Subordinated Notes”). A copy of the initial information memorandum was lodged with the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) on 16 July 2012 (“Initial Information Memorandum”). Westpac lodged a replacement information memorandum (which replaces the Initial Information Memorandum) with ASX on 23 July 2012 after the Margin for the Westpac Subordinated Notes was set ("Information Memorandum").
Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used on this site have the same meaning as those in the Information Memorandum.
The Offer of Westpac Subordinated Notes will be made under the Information Memorandum. The Information Memorandum is available on this website. Persons eligible to apply must complete an Application Form attached to, or accompanying the Information Memorandum. Eligible Securityholders can also apply online via the online Application site.
Before accessing and viewing this website or downloading, printing or viewing the Information Memorandum, you need to read these Terms and Conditions carefully and indicate your acceptance by clicking on the 'I agree' button below.
Westpac Subordinated Notes are being offered to Eligible Securityholders, retail clients of Syndicate Brokers (subject to certain foreign selling restrictions), and to certain Institutional Investors. The Information Memorandum does not constitute, and should not be construed as, an Offer, invitation or recommendation by Westpac to any other person to apply for Westpac Subordinated Notes. The distribution of the Information Memorandum (including an electronic copy) in jurisdictions outside Australia may be restricted by law. If you are outside Australia and come into possession of a copy of the Information Memorandum, you should seek advice on and observe those restrictions.
