We’ve got heaps of different ways you can manage your money on the go with us.

Using online banking

Westpac Online Banking has over 200 features that can help you take control of your finances, including being able to:
 

  • Transfer money between your accounts
  • Pay your bills using BPAY
  • Set up recurring payments
  • Send or receive international payments
  • Increase or decrease your credit card limit
  • Manage your contact details
  • Manage your daily payment limit (the maximum amount you can pay per day across all your accounts
  • Let us know when you’re heading overseas – this can help us protect you from fraud.

 

You can also rest-assured your money is safe with us with our Safe Online Banking guarantee. That means if your Westpac account is compromised as a result of Internet fraud, we guarantee to repay any missing funds, providing you comply with our Online Banking Terms and Conditions.

With the Westpac App

With the Westpac App you can take your bank with you wherever you go. Key features include:

 

  • Cardless Cash – Withdraw cash from any Westpac, St.George, BankSA, Bank of Melbourne or select Westpac Group partner ATMs without a Debit Card1
  • Lock card temporarily - Lost your Mastercard® credit or debit card? Lock your card temporarily until you find it2
  • Proof of balance - Your account summary and transaction history is available to print from online Banking and the Westpac App
  • Streamlined ways to contact us - Need to speak to us about your banking? Simply sign into the Westpac App, tap Contact Us, choose your service, and get connected
  • Find an ATM close to you using the ATM locator. You can also use it to find a Global Alliance ATM when travelling overseas.

 

The Westpac App is only available for use by Westpac Australia customers and an Internet connection is needed to access the Westpac App.

At an ATM

Other ways we’re making it easier to manage your money at ATMs include the ability to:

Find a Westpac ATM

Getting on the phone to take care of your banking

Self Service Telephone Banking gives you the flexibility to manage your banking when it suits you, wherever you are. You can also get information on products, services, interest rates and fees by speaking to a Banking Representative (8am-8pm, 7 days a week).
 

You can use Self Service Telephone Banking to:
 

  • Check account balances and recent transaction details
  • Find out your BSB and account number
  • Find out current specials on Term Deposit for amounts from $5,000 to  $250,000
  • Find out the Interest rate on your Home Loan account
  • Find out how much interest you've earned on your accounts
  • Transfer funds between your Westpac accounts
  • Make credit card payments
  • Pay any bills where you see the BPAY® logo.

 

You can use Self Service Telephone Banking, call 132 032.

Things you should know

1.     Cardless cash: is available on eligible Westpac transaction accounts with a linked debit card. Get Cash limit of 3 withdrawals per day applies, subject to $500 daily withdrawal limit and $1,000 weekly withdrawal limit. Only available at Westpac Group ATMs in Australia. To access cardless cash on your mobile you must be registered to use Westpac Online Banking and download the Westpac App. You’ll also need the Westpac App (version 6.1 or above) installed on your iPhone.
 

2.     Card on hold: Available on personal credit and Mastercard® debit cards only. Cards to which a temporary lock can be applied will be listed when you sign in to Online Banking or the Westpac App and visit Lock a card temporarily under Cards services.
