Security

Westpac’s commitment to security means you can feel confident that your data, information and payments are secure with the latest technology.

Corporate Online utilises a leading security framework that incorporates multiple protective technologies to safeguard your organisation's information and support effective risk management against fraudulent activities.

Encryption

Corporate Online uses encryption technologies to protect your data.

Tailored access

When granted access to Corporate Online, your staff members are established individually as users within the organisation. They are provided with their own unique customer number and password which are linked to your organisation.

This means their access and privileges can be customised, so they can only see and action those functions you choose. At sign-in only the appropriate menus and functions will be shown to them - enabling segregation of duties where required.

Strong authentication

Corporate Online requires the mandatory use of security tokens for access protection. Certain types of users must access specific functions using a security token to ensure an additional layer of security is in place.

The security token options available to a user are either an eToken or a physical SecurID® token.

Before using an eToken your users will need to have a compatible mobile device to install the Westpac One app.  When using the eToken it requires the user to enter a 6-digit PIN/biometric (eToken) to access the constantly changing token number presented on the mobile app.

The use of the SecurID® token requires a second password in addition to the constantly changing token number presented on the device.

Business continuity planning

Corporate Online can provide your organisation with improved provision for business continuity and 'disaster recovery'.

As both Corporate Online data and software is hosted at Westpac, loss of your computer equipment (for example, through breakdown or theft) or of access to your buildings (e.g. through fire or flood) doesn't have to mean loss of access to your accounts or transaction services.
