Pre-approval available for new to bank and existing business banking customers subject to the following: Customer must be a qualified medical/dental/veterinary practitioner and must be a partner in a practice or own the practice. New to bank customers (Borrower(s) and Guarantor(s) must own residential property (can be subject to mortgage). Borrower(s) and Guarantor(s) must have satisfactory credit bureau report and ASIC search (including acceptable credit bureau score). Borrower(s) have been operating the current business for a minimum of 2 years. Overall transactional banking relationship to be transferred to the Bank within 6 months (if not already held). Purchase must be from a recognised supplier.

Conditional approval is offered on a direct to bank basis and not through third party channels. Westpac will continually assess and grow our approved healthcare vendors. The Vendor Relationship Equipment Finance Policy CANNOT be used where the finance application involves any of the following; Revolving limits, Sub-leasing, Import Direct, Escrow transactions, where applicant is broker referred (excluding Bongiorno Group).

6. 50% (sqm) of practice premises must be doctor owner occupied with residual space tenanted by 'Allied Health' Providers. Goods must be new Medical Equipment up to $500,000 for Medical General Medical / Dental Practitioners and $650,000 for Medical / Dental Specialists (not including fit out, furniture, computers, etc.). The amount being financed must be within 120% of the market value of the goods. RV equals (Lease), or Balloon must be below (CHP / Loan) ATO guidelines (residual value/ balloon may be rounded UP to the nearest 5% under this authority). For existing Westpac Customers connection in good standing will be considered. Where Westpac not primary bank, Transactional banking relationship must be transferred to Westpac within 6 months of funding. For non-Westpac Business Lending customers, the borrower or guarantor must own residential property.
