Mediacom commences as media agency for the Westpac Group

The Westpac Group today announced the commencement of a strategic partnership with Mediacom following a comprehensive review of media services.
Mediacom will support the activity of the various brands within the Westpac Group, including media strategy, planning and trading services.
The new agreement does not extend to online search, which is handled by each brand within the Westpac Group individually.
The Westpac Group thanked outgoing agency OMD for its hard work and valuable contribution, and acknowledged its dedication to delivering communication outcomes through strong relationships and a passionate team.
Transition arrangements will start on Monday 10 October, with the new three-year agreement with Mediacom officially commencing from 1 December 2011.
