Inclusion across the generations

For the first time in history, we have five generations in the workplace at once. The power of our people lies in the richness of the diverse skills, experience and knowledge they offer at different stages in their career. From our 50PLUS group who are age 50 and over, to our young, 30 and under employees, we are offering a range of options to help them plan their next move, and reach their full potential.

50PLUS

Our people age 50+ are a vital part of our workforce, and hold a significant amount of skills, company knowledge and experience. With more than 20% of our people in this group, we want to ensure we support those who are planning their next career move and those who wish to transition to retirement.

Our initiatives

Training

  • Create Your Future program, run in partnership with Sageco, is designed to help our people create a plan for their future, covering topics such as identity, finances, career, health and relationships

  • The Navigate workshop helps leaders support the mature employees in their team, plan for the needs of their workforce and ensure their knowledge is retained.

Resources

We have built a hub for our people called 'Your Experience, Your Future'. This site gives mature employees access to a range of resources to help you get the most out of your career, finances, health, family relationships and community involvement. Included is our Self-assessment Tool to help you find out just how ready you are for the future.

Flexibility

Our employees have access to a range of flexible work options.

Network

The 50PLUS Employee Action Group aims to create a supportive culture around the diverse needs of an ageing demographic.

Youth - age 35 and under

Our aim is to bring our younger employees together to help them reach their full potential and empower and equip our future leaders. Around 20% of our people are under 30 and we have a number of exciting programs designed to inspire and develop those in the early stages of their careers.
