Your eligible accounts will be displayed on the 'Statement Options' screen. Any account you hold that is ineligible will not appear.

There are some cases where you will not be able to stop receiving paper statements for an eligible account type. This may be because it is linked to a mortgage account in an offset arrangement or a permanent overdraft is loaded on the account.

If an account becomes ineligible, it will revert to paper statements.

Joint accounts

For savings and transaction accounts any joint account holder can stop receiving paper statements. Consent is not required from each joint account holder to change preferences.

For credit card accounts only the primary cardholder can elect to stop receiving paper statements.

If you choose to stop receiving paper statements for a joint account, we will send an email notification to at least one account holder each time an eStatement becomes available for viewing in Internet Banking. For credit card accounts we will send an email notification to the primary cardholder. More than one account holder can receive email notifications, or you can nominate just one account holder to receive them. The choice is yours.

If at least one other joint account holder is receiving the email notifications, you can elect not to receive the email notification by de-selecting your email address on the 'Statement Options' screen. However, please ensure that 'Email notification' is still selected or the account will revert to paper statements.
