Altitude Points can add up pretty quickly on your rewards card, especially if you are using your card to the best of your advantage, so why not make your points work even harder for you? Altitude Points can be used for much more than just shopping and travel and could even help get you ahead financially.

Pay with Points

Pay with Points feature which allows you to spend your points on everyday purchases, anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Spend and Erase

Spend and Erase allows you to select a card purchase you have made in the last 90 days (excluding BPAY® transactions) to redeem your Altitude Points for a statement credit to the value of that purchase, lowering your card balance.[#] That means you can use your points on almost anything.

Cash Back

Choosing to redeem your Altitude Points for cashback means your points can go towards reducing your card balance. You can choose to redeem increments of $50, $100, $500 and $1000, which will then be automatically credited to your card account.

Westpac are committed to empowering Australians to create stronger, more prosperous communities and are proud to work with a wide range of charities. You can choose to redeem your Altitude Points for a donation to over 10 different charities including the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Surf Life Saving Australia.

Annual fee rebate

Let your rewards card pay for itself by redeeming your Altitude points for a rebate on your card’s annual fee. Annual fee rebates are available for all of the Westpac Rewards Cards and you can redeem points for cash increments of $25, $75, $100, $125 and $150.

Gift Cards

Redeeming your points for gift cards is also a great way to get the most out of your points. We offer gift cards from a range of stores including David Jones, Myer, JB-Hi Fi, Woolworths, Bunnings, Ampol and many more. Use your gift card to cover some of your usual expenses, such as your weekly grocery shop or to refuel your car. You can also push your dollar even further by using your gift cards at your favourite department store during sale time to snag a real bargain. Don’t have time to wait for a gift card to be delivered? Make sure you also check out the range of eGift Cards.

Visit the Altitude website for all terms and conditions, and remember to pay off your monthly balance to ensure you are getting the most out of your card and not negating the benefits by paying interest.
