So how does it work?
1. Switch it on in the Westpac App
Search Pay with Points in the app and then activate it for your next purchase as a one-off or for all eligible purchases. You’ll need at least $3 of points available.
2. Shop
Spend with your Altitude Rewards card on any purchase of $3 or more.
3. Get a credit
You’ll get a credit back for the amount of points used.[#]

What if I return a Pay with Points purchase?
You will be refunded for your purchase by the merchant back into your credit card account. As you've already received your Pay with Points cashback, your Altitude Points will not be reimbursed.
What if I have more than one Altitude Rewards card?
If you have more than one Altitude Rewards card (including Business Altitude Rewards cards), the redemption amount available will be your total cumulative Altitude points Balance.
What if I don't have enough points?
If you don't have enough Reward Points to cover your purchase, you will only receive a cashback for part of the purchase.
What else do I need to know?
Pay with Points is a way of redeeming Altitude Reward points for a reward under the Altitude Reward Terms & Conditions.
Altitude Reward Points don't have a cash value, where we display a dollar amount to you, this is simply the amount of cashback you are currently able to receive by using Pay with Points.
What do I need to check before using Pay with Points?
Purchases that use Pay with Points will temporarily reduce your available balance until the Pay with Points credit is posted. So, check that you have enough credit to complete the transaction.
What purchases can I make using Pay with Points?
Pay with Points can be used for most purchases (instore and online), including recurring payments such as subscriptions. These are also known as 'automatic payments'. Pay with Points can be used in Australia or overseas.
What about pending or pre-authorised transactions?
Any pending or pre-authorised transactions will be treated as Pay with Points redemptions, even if the amount changes when the transaction is finalised.
What about additional cardholders?
Only the primary cardholder can activate Pay with Points. Once you've switched it on, it's also activated for any additional cardholder spend.
Are there any excluded transactions?
You can't use Pay with Points to repay your credit card balance, or for some other transactions, such as gambling, government payments or cash equivalent transactions. However, you may redeem your points for a cashback, and this could be used to pay part or the full amount of your credit card balance.
Am I eligible to use Pay with Points?
You must have enough Altitude points to redeem $3. There is also a minimum spend of $3.
You may not be eligible to use Pay with Points if you're not up to date on your payments, if your card is blocked or cancelled, or your card has been reported as lost or stolen.
If I have an Altitude Qantas or Altitude Velocity credit card, can I use Pay with Points?
No, it’s unavailable on these credit cards. You need to have an Altitude Rewards Platinum or Black credit card to use Pay with Points.
