Topping up your money card

It's quick and easy to reload the money card:

  • Use the Transfer Funds function of any Australian financial institution's online banking (where available). The BSB and account number associated with your card are located online in the card management portal under "Add Money"
  • Use BPAY by entering the BPAY Biller Code 208637, then enter your customer reference number which is the 13 digit number on the back of your card
  • You can also reload your card instantly at any Westpac branch in Australia

Lost or stolen cards and assistance

You can speak to someone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Back up money card

For your convenience, we issue you with two cards - a primary card and a back-up card. They have different card numbers and separate PINs. Both cards should only be used by you and not by another person.

You can use your back-up card if you can't use your primary card (such as if it's damaged, lost or stolen). Both cards have access to your Global Currency Card funds and can be used interchangeably.

What if I have money left on the money card when I return from overseas?

You can keep using your card in Australia to either shop online or make fee-free cash withdrawals from any Westpac group ATM from your Australian dollar wallet. Alternatively fill out the account closure form available on the online portal.
