Need bank-issued documents for an application?

Download a summary of your account balances or a statement of recent transactions. No need to visit a branch or wait for your next statement.

Which document do I need?

  • Use Proof of balance if you need to provide information about your current account balance
  • Use Statement of recent transactions to show transactions over the last 30, 90 or 120 days. Useful if you need to show your regular expenses or savings history, for example.

Both documents include:

  • your name and address
  • the current date
  • PDF formatting on Westpac letterhead

Tip: Once you have downloaded your documents you can submit them directly online to your Human Services or Centrelink Online Account if required.  You can also print them out at home and keep a paper copy.

How to download your Proof of balance and Recent Transactions report

Step 1: Sign in and go to Services & preferences and look for Proof of balance and transactions under Account services



Step 2: Choose Proof of account balance


Step 3: Select Accounts from the drop down menu, then Create report to download your statement

Step 1: Sign in and tap Self Service at the top of the screen

Step 2: Tap Financial Reports

Step 3: Select your report from the drop down menu
