Renewing my policy

Renew your policy so your building and contents stay covered. When you receive your annual renewal invitation, it's easy to then renew your policy - which best describes you?

I pay monthly

If you pay your premium in monthly instalments, you don’t need to do much to renew your policy. When you receive a renewal invitation, your cover will automatically continue if you continue to pay your premiums, unless you cancel it. The renewal invitation will set out the details of your new policy, including the premium payable and any special conditions.

I pay annuall

If you pay your premium once a year, you’ll need to renew your policy by paying the next year’s premium before the expiry date shown on your annual renewal invitation. You can choose your preferred payment option or change to monthly payments at no extra fee – just call 1300 650 255, 8am - 8pm, Mon - Fri, 9am - 2pm, Sat (Sydney time).

What do I need to know before renewing?

  • Check that you have sufficient cover for your needs – review your cover and sum insured to take into account things like upgrades and changes in building codes and materials. To make changes to your policy, call us on 1300 650 255, 8am - 8pm, Mon - Fri, 9am - 2pm, Sat (Sydney time)
  • Check that all details included in your schedule are correct and let us know if anything needs to change.

How can I renew?

  • Call 1300 650 255, 8am - 8pm, Mon - Fri, 9am - 2pm, Sat (Sydney time) to pay by credit card or to make changes to your policy
  • BPAY® - refer to the biller code and reference number on the payment slip
  • In person at any Australia Post Office
  • Post Billpay - use the Post Billpay service at any Australia Post outlet paying with either cash, cheque or EFTPOS.

What happens next?

However you choose to renew, remember to note your payment reference number for your records.
