Covering younger drivers

Occasionally my son or daughter may drive the vehicle. Will I be covered?

Yes; as long as the insurer has agreed to cover them and they were included in the list of likely drivers on the current schedule. Should this list need updating, you should notify the insurer immediately.

If an event that results in a claim was caused by a driver under 25 and their details are not shown on the current schedule, the insurer may refuse the claim and/or cancel your policy, or adjust your premium and apply an undeclared young driver excess in addition to the age and basic excess.
