The American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card gives you 2 complimentary visits each year to the American Express Airport Lounge at Sydney or Melbourne International Airports. Simply present your card and boarding pass at either lounge to gain admission.

As a current American Express Westpac Altitude Card Bundle cardholder, you are eligible for complimentary Overseas Travel Insurance cover, provided:

  1. You either permanently reside in Australia or hold a current and valid residency Visa and reside in Australia; and
  2. You spend at least $A500 on your prepaid travel costs (i.e. your travel costs that you pay for before leaving Australia) and you charge these costs to one of your American Express Westpac Altitude Bundle cards.  This could include return travel tickets, airport or departure taxes, overseas accommodation etc.; and
  3. You have a return overseas travel ticket before departing Australia; and
  4. You are not over 80 years of age when you first become eligible for this cover by meeting the above conditions.

Westpac Altitude Platinum Mastercard

^ Bonus Rewards Points Promotion for Westpac Altitude Cards: The respective bonus points promotion is available when you apply and are approved for a new Altitude Platinum card between 24th July 2019 and 31 October 2019 and spend the minimum amount of $3,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Platinum card within 90 days from card approval in one or more transactions. Eligible purchases do not include fees, cash, cash equivalent transactions, payments to the Australian Tax Office, BPAY, BPAY equivalent transaction, refunds and balance transfers debited from the card account. The bonus Qantas Points will be added to your points balance on a monthly basis. Existing Westpac customers who currently hold an Earth Platinum, Earth Platinum Plus, Earth Black, Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black credit card, or who have held one in the last 12 months, are not eligible for this offer. Qantas Points earned during a statement cycle are added to your Qantas Points balance on a monthly basis.

Reduced Annual card fee: The discounted first year annual card fee promotion is available when you apply for a new Westpac Altitude Platinum credit card between 24th July 2019 and 31 October 2019. The first annual card fee at the special promotional rate will be debited to your card account on your first transaction and the full annual card fee will be debited annually thereafter.

First Year Qantas fee waiver: A first year Annual $50 Qantas fee waiver is available when you apply for a new Westpac Altitude Platinum credit card between 24th July 2019 and 31 October 2019. After the first year, the Annual $50 Qantas Rewards fee applies and will be debited on the 12 month anniversary of the first transaction on your account and annually thereafter.

6. Rewards Points on the Westpac Altitude Platinum Mastercard: The earning and redeeming of Qantas Points is subject to the Altitude Qantas Terms and Conditions. Purchases that are not eligible to earn Qantas Points are set out in the Altitude Terms and Conditions. You do not receive points if your card account is in arrears for 2 consecutive statement cycles and in other circumstances. Qantas Points earned during a statement cycle are added to your Qantas Points balance on a monthly basis.

Altitude Qantas: In order to earn and redeem points, you must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. An annual $50 Qantas Rewards fee applies for customers who choose to earn Qantas Points through Altitude Qantas rewards program.

American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card

~ Bonus Rewards points for American Express Westpac Altitude Cards: Offer only available to Westpac Altitude cardholders who apply online for the new American Express Westpac Altitude Card between 24th July 2019 and 31 October 2019, are approved and spend $3,000 on eligible purchases on their new Card within 90 days of Card approval date. Bonus Points will be awarded to the eligible Card Member’s account 8-10 weeks after the spend criteria have been met. Card Members who currently hold or who have previously held any other American Express Westpac Altitude Card product issued by American Express Australia Limited in the preceding 18 month period are ineligible for this offer.

# Reduced First Year Annual Card Fee: The American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card will have a $99 introductory annual Card fee for the first year of Card Membership. After the first year, the annual Card fee will be $199 per year and is payable on the anniversary of card approval. American Express Lounge access: Entry into The American Express Lounges is governed by the full Terms and Conditions available at amex.com.au/airportlounge.
