Some things to keep in mind
Your account number will change, so you’ll need to update any recurring payment details. All your new statements should reflect your 55 Day Platinum Visa card after you activate your new card or on 10 September 2017, whichever happens first.

Yes. After activating your card, you will still be able to view transactions made on your Ignite Mastercard for the next 90 days. Any statements from the past 7 years will be available to order by calling 1300 859 100.
Your statements will change and be issued as 55 Day Platinum card when you activate your new card. They will come with a new account number and your BPAY® payment details will also change.
Your repayment date won’t change, and you’ll continue to receive your statements as normal each month.
We understand that you may have authorised certain merchants to deduct funds from your current card on an on-going basis. These recurring payments are subject to certain card scheme rules which require you to cancel or amend your recurring payment authority directly with the merchant. We are unable to amend an authority on your behalf. Please contact the merchant directly within 30 days of activating your new 55 Day Platinum card to notify them of your new card number and expiry.

You can no longer use your Ignite Mastercard once you’ve activated your new card. Securely destroy your Ignite Mastercard as soon as you have activated your 55 Day Platinum card.
If you choose not to upgrade to 55 Day Platinum, you can continue to use your Ignite Mastercard.
Things you should know
If you choose to upgrade to the 55 Day Platinum card, the financial table, contained in the Westpac offer letter we sent you with your Ignite card, will be varied by replacing any reference to “Ignite” with a reference to “55 Day Platinum card”. The Combined Conditions of Use and Credit Guide replaces your Ignite Card Conditions of Use. The Westpac Credit Cards Complimentary Insurance Policy and the 55 Day Platinum Concierge Service Terms and Conditions contain terms and conditions relevant to features on the 55 Day Platinum card. Your activation of the 55 Day Platinum card will be taken as your agreement to comply with your varied credit card contract.
