Lounge access

If you have an Altitude Black credit card, you can escape the crowds and relax in an airport lounge with two complimentary airport lounge passes per year.

  • For Altitude Black cardholders who select Altitude Rewards, these are via the Priority Pass program
  • For Altitude Black cardholders who select Altitude Qantas, this is via the Qantas Lounge invitations

Priority Pass - for Altitude Black customers who select Altitude Rewards

Priority Pass is the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program, giving members access to 1000+ airport lounges around the globe covering over 500 cities in 130 countries.
To receive your two complimentary lounge visits within each 12-month period of your Priority Pass membership, you need to have a Westpac Altitude Black World Mastercard®, and enrol in the Priority Pass program. One complimentary membership is free.

Once you’ve enrolled, you will receive a physical Priority Pass card in the mail and you can download your Digital Membership Card online. Your two complimentary annual lounge visits will be loaded to your Priority Pass Membership account.

  • The two complimentary airport lounge visits are within each 12-month period of your Priority Pass membership and can only be used by the primary cardholder.
  • If you’re travelling with someone else, they can join you in the lounge at the prevailing visit fee which is currently US$27, per person, per visit. This will be charged directly to your Westpac Altitude Black World Mastercard. Prices are current as of February 2018.

When you join Priority Pass with your Westpac Black World Mastercard, your membership is complimentary, saving you US$99 on the annual fee.

Qantas Lounge invitations- for Altitude Black customers who select Altitude Qantas or Earth Black cardholders^

To be eligible for the two complimentary Qantas Club Lounge invitations, you must first register and then use your Altitude Black Card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services directly with Qantas.

Selected Qantas products and services are the following items purchased directly from Qantas: Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, Qantas branded non-airfare products and any Qantas products and services not purchased directly from Qantas.
You’ll receive these Qantas Lounge invitations each year following that year’s first purchase on selected Qantas products and services.

To use your lounge passes you will need to show an eligible Qantas or Jetstar flight ticket for travel on that day.

Invitations are not valid in Qantas Domestic Business Lounges, oneworld® alliance lounges, partner airline and associated lounges and are subject to the Qantas Club Terms and Conditions.
For Altitude Black customers who have selected Altitude Qantas, register to receive your lounge passes.

For Earth Black customers, register to receive your lounge passes.


Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations - FAQs

From 2 July 2018, Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations will no longer be issued in the mail. New Complimentary Invitations will be accessible via Qantas’ online Complimentary Invitations Portal. For more FAQs on Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations, visit qantas.com/freeloungeinvite.

 

As a Westpac Altitude Black World Mastercard or Earth Black Mastercard (no longer for sale) cardholder earning Qantas Points, you are eligible for two Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations within each 12-month period of your anniversary registration date when you register your Altitude Black World Mastercard via loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au or your Earth Black Mastercard (no longer for sale) via loungepass earth.com.au and use your card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services. Selected Qantas products and services are the following items purchased directly from Qantas: Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, Qantas branded non-airfare products and any Qantas products and services not purchased directly from Qantas.

Within 14 days of meeting eligibility criteria, Qantas will send you a confirmation email advising you that your Complimentary Invitations are ready to use. Once this email has been received, you can view and manage your Complimentary Invitations by logging in to Qantas’ Complimentary Invitations Portal using your Qantas Frequent Flyer account login details.

Log in to the Complimentary Invitations Portal using your Qantas Frequent Flyer account and link your Complimentary Invitations to an eligible flight booking at least 24 hours prior to departure. To link your Invitation, click “ADD INVITATION” next to the eligible flight2 and select the available Complimentary Invitation you wish to access - take note that the type of Complimentary Invitation determines which lounge you can access. You will receive a confirmation email advising that your Invitation has been linked. Simply present the email with your boarding pass at the lounge entry.

A Complimentary Invitation will disappear from the Complimentary Invitations Portal on the day after its Expiry Date.

Access and use of Qantas Lounges is subject to Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations Terms and Conditions. For more information, visit qantas.com/freeloungeinvite.

This Complimentary Invitations Portal is where you can view and manage your available Complimentary Invitations. You can:

  • Link an invitation to an eligible Qantas or Jetstar flight1
  • Unlink a linked invitation
  • Transfer an available invitation to another active Qantas Frequent Flyer member2
  • Purchase a Lounge Access Pass for other people in the same Booking if eligible

Your two Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations will be available within 14 business days of you meeting eligibility criteria and an email notification will be sent to your nominated email address with your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

No, paper Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations will no longer be issued from 2 July 2018. If you have current paper Complimentary Invitations, these will still be valid until the expiry date printed on the Invitation.

If you have registered and met eligible spend prior to 22 June 2018, you will receive a paper Complimentary Invitation in the mail within 4 weeks of meeting eligible spend. If you have registered and met eligible spend on or after 22 June 2018, you will receive a digital Complimentary Invitation within 14 business days of meeting eligible spend.

To redeem your Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations, you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member. If you are not yet a member, register for your Frequent Flyer membership at qantaspoints.com/ffjoinwestpac. If you are an Altitude Black World Mastercard or Earth Black Mastercard (no longer for sale) cardholder, membership is complimentary and your joining fee of $89 will be waived.

Please call Westpac on 1300 130 961, 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week to link your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to your credit card.

You must have first registered via loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au if you are an Altitude Black World Mastercard cardholder or loungepass.earth.com.au if you are an Earth Black Mastercard (no longer for sale) and met eligibility criteria1. To receive your Complimentary Invitations, you must have provided Westpac with your Qantas Frequent Flyer Number. If you have not yet registered for your complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership, you may join at qantaspoints.com/ffjoinwestpac.

Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations are provided courtesy of Westpac, and are valid for Qantas Club and Qantas operated International Business Lounges only (excluding Los Angeles Tom Bradley Airport lounge). Not valid in International First Class lounges, Chairman's Lounge, Qantas Domestic Business, Qantas oneworld® alliance airline, partner airline or associated lounges. Each invitation is valid for a single visit before the expiry date specified on the invitation, when travelling with Qantas or Jetstar with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K, GK, BL) flight number. Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations must not be resold. Qantas reserves the right to cancel invitations and disqualify future invitations that are in breach of this policy.

Access and use is subject to Qantas Club rules which are available at qantas.com/qantasclub. Access may not be available if the applicable lounge is full or near capacity, at the full discretion of lounge staff. Access and use of Qantas Club lounges is subject to Qantas Club terms and conditions.

2. Eligible Flight for a general Complimentary Invitation is an onward flight that day with an applicable Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K, GK, BL) flight number that can be or is linked to the Complimentary Invitation in the Eligible Customer's Complimentary Invitations Portal.

3. It is against Qantas Club policy to resell Complimentary Invitations by selling and transferring Invitations within the Complimentary Invitations Portal. Qantas reserves the right to cancel invitations and disqualify future invitations that are in breach of this policy.
