55 Day to Low Fee

Important Updates to your Combined Conditions of Use and Credit Guide


From 1 March 2019, the 55 Day Card Account will be renamed the “Low Fee Card Account” and the 55 Day Gold Card Account will be renamed the “Low Fee Platinum Card Account”.  These changes will apply to Mastercard® cards and not to Visa cards.  As a result, on and from 1 March 2019, the following changes to the Combined Conditions of Use and Credit Guide will be effective.  All other terms of your Credit Card Contract will remain unchanged.  Please read these changes together with the Combined Conditions of Use and Credit Guide:

 

  1. In clause 2.0 of the Conditions of Use, under the subheading “Non Rewards Card Accounts” under the heading “Card Account”, the following two bullet points are inserted before the first bullet point:
    • Low Fee Card Account.
    • Low Fee Platinum Card Account.
  2. In clause 3.1 of the Conditions of Use, under the subheading “Non Rewards Cards”, the following two bullet points are inserted before the first bullet point:
    • Low Fee Card.
    • Low Fee Platinum Card.
  3. In clause 7.2.3(a) of the Conditions of Use, under the subheading “Non Rewards Card Accounts”, the following two bullet points are inserted before the first bullet point:
    • Low Fee Card Account.
    • Low Fee Platinum Card Account.

Frequently asked questions

We regularly review our credit card products.  As a result from 1 March 2019 your 55 Day card Mastercard will be renamed the Low Fee Mastercard, which will be reflected in your credit card statements and Online Banking.

The changes described in the email will apply automatically.  If you would like to know what other credit cards are available, visit a branch, contact your Relationship Manager or contact us on 1300 651 089 between 8am - 8pm (AEST), Monday - Saturday.

No. You will continue to have 55 days interest free on purchases when you pay your balance in full each month.

No.  If we change your fees or rates, we will notify you in accordance with your Credit Card Contract.

No.  You can keep using your current credit card as normal.  You will ordinarily receive your new Low Fee Card on or before the expiry date of your existing 55 Day Card, or if it is lost or stolen and you request a replacement credit card.

If you would like your replacement credit card earlier than on or before the expiry date of your existing 55 Day Card, please visit a branch, contact your relationship manager or contact us on 1300 651 089 between 8am - 8pm (AEST), Monday – Saturday, on or after 1 March 2019. The changes described in the email will still apply automatically on 1 March 2019 and your existing arrangements will remain in place with Customer Assist.
