Requesting an indicative home loan payout figure
Sign into Online Banking or the Westpac App to submit a request.
You must meet all of the following requirements before you submit a request:
- be an existing Westpac customer
- be registered for Online Banking
- have a home loan with us
Things you should know

The payout figure will be indicative only and will change depending on:
- when your home loan is paid out in full
- the daily interest accruing on the loan balance
- any applicable fees and charges
- any repayments or redraws made on your home loan

We’ll process your request within one business day

You may receive a call from us to discuss your request further

Payout figures are valid for 1 business day.
When not to request an indicative payout figure
Please do not submit a request if:
- You’re waiting for a final payout figure, which you’ll receive 3 to 5 days before your loan settlement date
- You’re closing your home loan account because you’re selling your home, refinancing or paying off your home loan. Instead submit a Property and Security Request.

Alternatively, you can search in the app on a mobile device:
- Sign into your account;
- Search home loan payment figure
- Select Indicative home loan payout figure
On a desktop device:
- Sign into your account;
- Under the main Services menu, select Services
- Under Account services, select Other account services
- Select Home loans, and then Indicative home loan payout figure
Retrieving your home loan payout figure
This will be available via our File Share Service, which is available in the Westpac App and Online Banking.
In the Westpac App
- Tap Profile > Documents > Share files
- Use the authorisation code that you received in the SMS to access the document
In Online Banking
- Select Service > Services
- Under ‘Account Services’, select Share files
- Use the authorisation code that you received in the SMS to access the document
