Online and Telephone banking set-up

In this section we ask how you’d like to set up Business Online Banking and Business Telephone Banking.

As an existing Westpac business customer please select from the following set-up options (question displays to existing business banking customers only)

Select the first option if you’d like your existing Business Online Banking and Business Telephone Banking set-up to be applied to your new business accounts. The existing set up would include users and their administration rights, contact persons and the daily limit.

If you‘d like to define alternative settings for your new account(s), select the second option. From there you will be able to define different Business Online Banking and Business Telephone Banking set-up rules. Note, these settings will only apply to your new business accounts.

Daily limit

Select a $0, $500 or $1,500 limit that applies across all accounts (not each account) and all users (not each user).

Example: The daily limit is set at $1,500. User A makes a $1,000 transaction and User B makes a further $500 transaction. This totals $1,500 for the day. For the remainder of the day only users with a SecurID® Token will be able to make further payments.

Individuals authorised to make payments above the daily limit

Select any users that should be able to transact further once the daily limit has been reached.  They’ll receive a SecurID® Token in the mail once the account opening process is finalised.

Note: The first SecurID® Token is complimentary. Each subsequent token is billed at $5.50 per month to your nominated Business Online Banking billing account.

Your organisation's Business Online Banking charges will be debited from a single nominated eligible account. Which eligible account do you want to have these fees debited from?

All Business Online Banking fees will be billed to a single eligible everyday business banking account. Please note this account can’t be an online savings account such as Westpac Business Cash Reserve or Westpac Business Cash Reserve Bonus.

The fees that fall into this category relate to transactions made while logged into Business Online Banking:

  • Pay Anyone to non-Westpac accounts
  • Overseas payments
  • Monthly SecurID® Token.

See the full list of Business Online Banking fees.
