For each individual, select ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to advise if a Business Debit MasterCard® is required to access account funds at ATMs and make other purchases. Use the free type if you’d like to advise an alternative name to appear on the cards (such as a name the individual is more commonly known by).
Enter the business name to appear on all requested access cards.
Is Business Debit MasterCard® a credit card?
No. A Business Debit MasterCard® provides access to your savings only, not borrowed funds. The advantage over a traditional style access card is that the debit card can be used everywhere MasterCard® is accepted.
How do I request a card for someone not named on the account? (e.g. a staff member)
Additional cards can be requested once your application has been processed by calling Business Direct on 132 772 or by visiting a Westpac branch.
Am I required to request a Business Debit MasterCard® with my new account?
No, the decision is entirely yours. Consider selecting a card for each signatory that will transact on the new account at an ATM, purchase goods over the phone, on the internet or in a store.
I am an existing customer and already have a Business Debit MasterCard®. Do I need to request a new one?
Yes. Request a new card and it will be linked to your new business account(s) only.
Do I use the cheque or savings account button at an ATM?
You’ll use the cheque button (the one exception is answered in the next question)
How do I access two accounts with the same card?
This question only applies if you are requesting both a Westpac Business One/Agribusiness One and a Westpac Business Flexi account as part of this application. Your Westpac Business One/Agribusiness One will be allocated the cheque ATM button. Your Westpac Business Flexi account will be allocated the savings button.
