Altitude Amex Card Security and privacy statement

Is my information secure?

When your credit card acceptance is transmitted over the Internet it is protected from unauthorised access by a method called encryption. Encryption is a technique of coding the information being sent using random mathematical "keys" so that only you and the bank can readily unscramble the information. These keys are generated for each credit card application and are erased when your session is terminated. A padlock will appear in the status bar at the bottom of your screen to indicate that the page is secure.
