How do I change my Westpac Online daily payment limit?
To update your Daily Payment Limit in Westpac Online Banking:
- Sign in to Westpac Online Banking
- Select Preferences from the Services & preferences menu
- Select Daily Payment Limit then Update my Daily Payment Limit
- Enter a new limit amount into the New limit field, or use the slider below it to indicate your new limit
- Select Save
If the change is an increase and depending on whether you're registered for a Westpac Protect™ security device, you may need to enter your date of birth or security code to complete the change.
Once you've done this, you'll receive a confirmation message at the top of the screen that your Daily Payment Limit has been updated. If you're not registered for a Westpac Protect™ security device, you can register by going to Preferences from the Services & preferences menu and selecting Security.
To update your Daily Payment Limit in Westpac Mobile Banking:
- Sign in to Westpac Mobile Banking
- Go to Services and security > Security and access > Daily Payment Limit
- Select one of the limit options
- Tap on Change Limit
If the change is an increase, and depending on whether you're registered for a Westpac Protect TM security device, you may need to enter your date of birth or security code to complete the change.
Once completed, you'll receive a confirmation message at the top of the screen that your Daily Payment Limit has been updated.
