Be credit savvy: Before applying, consider a realistic credit limit and check all conditions, interest rates, fees and charges on your selected card.

Rewards Points: The earning and redemption of Altitude Points and Qantas Points is subject to the Altitude Rewards and Altitude Qantas Terms and Conditions. Purchases that are not eligible to earn Rewards Points are set out in the Altitude Rewards Terms and Conditions. For example: payments to the Australian Taxation Office, cash advances, BPAY and BPAY equivalent transactions do not earn Reward Points. You do not receive points if your card account is in arrears for 2 consecutive statement cycles and in other circumstances. 

*Low Fee first year annual card fee waiver: $0 annual card fee in the first year and $0 annual card fee in subsequent years promotion is available when you apply for a new Low Fee or Low Fee Platinum credit card between 3rd April 2019 and midnight 26th June 2019 and spend $5,000 or more on a Low Fee credit card or $10,000 or more on a Low Fee Platinum credit card on purchases in each 12 months from the anniversary date of the first transaction on your account.

^Bonus Rewards Points Promotion for Westpac Altitude Cards:  The respective bonus points promotion is available when you apply and are approved for a new Altitude Platinum or Altitude Black card between 3rd April 2019 and midnight 2nd June 2019 and spend the minimum amount of $3,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Black card or $3,000 on eligible purchases on an Altitude Platinum card within 90 days from card approval in one or more transactions.

Eligible purchases do not include fees, cash, cash equivalent transactions, payments to the Australian Tax Office, BPAY, BPAY equivalent transaction, refunds and balance transfers debited from the card account. The bonus Altitude Points or Qantas Points will be added to your points balance within 12 weeks once you meet the eligible spend criteria. ^$0 annual card fee in first year for existing Westpac customers promotion: The first year annual card fee waiver is available to existing Westpac customers who apply for a new Low Rate or Altitude credit card by clicking on the Westpac customers 'Apply now’ button via westpac.com.au between 3rd April 2019 and 26th June 2019. The first annual card fee will be debited on the 12 month anniversary of the first transaction on your account and annually thereafter.

#Balance transfer promotion: This offer is available when you apply for a new Low Rate credit card between 3rd April 2019 and midnight 26th June 2019, and request at card application to transfer balance(s) from up to 3 non-Westpac Australian issued credit, charge or store cards. A balance transfer fee of 0% applies to the transferred balance(s).  The promotional rate will apply to balance(s) transferred (min $200 up to 80% of your approved available credit limit) for the promotional period. 1 SmartPlan Disclaimer: SmartPlan requires monthly payments to be made for the term calculated and at the applicable interest rate when the SmartPlan is entered into. All payments made to your account will be applied first to any SmartPlan instalments, so debts accruing a higher interest rate may be left unpaid during the SmartPlan term. Your balance transfer must have a maximum of 36 months and a remaining term of at least 3 months to be eligible for a SmartPlan. See SmartPlan for more details. SmartPlan cancellation takes up to 2 Business Days. Any SmartPlan Remaining Balance will revert to the variable interest rate for your balance type or special offer rate as applicable.  

Discounted rates may not apply to cards with existing promotional rates. Discounted rates will not apply to Westpac Lite Mastercard. Establishment fees apply on a Large Purchase SmartPlan.

4Uber promotion: To be eligible for this offer, customers must apply for a new Westpac Altitude credit card between 3rd April 2019 and 26th June 2019, and register their Westpac Altitude credit card as their payment option on their Uber account. Westpac will cover up to $20 for every 3rd  Uber ride paid for using the new Westpac Altitude credit card until 31st August 2018 ("Offer Period"). Discounted rides must be used before 31st August 2018 (one use per ride). This promotion is not available to existing Westpac Altitude credit card holders. Rides cannot be saved. A maximum of $250 in free rides per customer applies during the Offer Period. The offer is valid for Uber rides in Australia only. Only rides paid for using your Personal profile are eligible. The offer excludes Business and Family profiles, uberTAXI rides and rides using the split fare option. You will be notified in the Uber app when the promotion has been activated on your Uber account. If the ride cost exceeds $20, the remaining balance will be charged to your Westpac card. Priority Pass Membership: To enrol, go to altitudeblack.com.au. Lounge usage in excess of two visits per 12-month membership period and all guest visits will be charged directly to your Altitude Black card at the prevailing visit fee which is currently US$27 per person, per visit. The first two visits within each 12-month membership period are complimentary to the primary cardholder only, after which every visit would be charged as per the prevailing rates. Any accompanying guests will be charged the prevailing visit fee, which is currently US$27 per person, per visit, which will be automatically charged on the cardholder's Altitude Black card. A Westpac Foreign Transaction Fee will apply to the conversion amount. Prices are current as of February 2018. The date of visits determines which year of membership the visit is allocated to. Unused visits cannot be carried forward to the following 12-month period of membership. The number of free visits will be reset to two per each 12-month period. Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations: As a Westpac Altitude Black card cardholder earning Qantas Points, you are eligible for two Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations within each 12-month period of your anniversary registration date when you register your Altitude Black card via loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au and use your card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services. Selected Qantas products and services are the following items purchased directly from Qantas: Qantas passenger flights (with a QF flight number), Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Excludes Jetstar, Qantas Holidays, Qantas branded non-airfare products and any Qantas products and services not purchased directly from Qantas.

Each invitation is valid for a single visit before the expiry date specified on the invitation, when travelling with Qantas or Jetstar with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ, 3K, GK, BL) flight number. Qantas Club Complimentary Invitations must not be resold. Qantas reserves the right to cancel invitations and disqualify future invitations that are in breach of this policy.

Altitude Rewards: You must be a member of the relevant frequent flyer program to redeem Altitude Points for frequent flyer points. The Altitude Rewards Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions of the relevant frequent flyer program apply. A joining fee may apply. Availability of Reward flights may be limited. Altitude Qantas: In order to earn and redeem points, you must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. An annual $50 Qantas Rewards card fee applies for customers who choose to earn Qantas Points through Altitude Qantas rewards program.

Qantas Club Lounge Invitations: To be eligible for the two complimentary Qantas Club Lounge invitations, you must register at loungepass.altitudeblack.com.au and then use your Altitude Black Card in Australia to purchase selected Qantas products and services. American Express Lounge access: Entry into The American Express Lounges is governed by the full Terms and Conditions available at amex.com.au/airportlounge. All entrants must adhere to the General Conditions of Entry. American Express Westpac Altitude Black Card members are entitled to two entries per calendar year to the American Express Lounges, located at Sydney International Airport or Melbourne International Airport. The total entitlement of two entries per calendar year applies across both Sydney and Melbourne Airport Lounges. Complimentary access is available for the Card Member’s children between the ages of 2-17. Card Member’s wishing to bring additional guests may be subject to a charge that is to be processed on the Card Member’s American Express Card. 

~Bonus Rewards points for American Express Westpac Altitude Cards: Offer only available to selected Westpac Altitude cardholders who apply online for the new American Express Westpac Altitude Card between 3rd April 2019 and 2nd June 2019, are approved and spend $3,000 on eligible purchases on their new Card within 90 days of Card approval date. Qantas & Partner Classic Reward Seats are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. The number of seats available depends on the flight, date, season and destination. Some flights may not have any Classic Reward seats available. For Classic Reward flights, taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable in addition to the points required, are subject to change and are quoted at the time of booking. Reward flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advance booking requirements may apply).

Flight Upgrades are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited. Flight upgrades are not available on Classic Rewards or on international airfares booked in E, N, O, P, Q, and X class (which includes some Any Seat Rewards and some Red e-Deals). You must have an eligible paid and confirmed ticket on a Qantas operated service (with a QF flight number on your ticket).

Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Rewards are available on any flight with a QF or JQ flight number. The points required will be quoted when booked. There is no fixed relationship between the cash price charges by the applicable airline for a seat and the points required to redeem an Any Seat Reward through Qantas Frequent Flyer. Special promotional fares may not apply. Reward flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other advanced booking requirements may apply).
