The important numbers

The following standard credit card interest rates, annual card fees and credit limits apply for the new card:

• Minimum credit limit of $3,000
• Annual card fee of $175 and annual Altitude Qantas Rewards Program fee of $125
• Variable purchase rate of 23.98% p.a. and variable cash advance rate of 23.99% p.a.
• Earn 0.75 Qantas Points per $1 on international spend
• Earn 0.5 Qantas Points per $1 on everyday spend
• Earn 0.33 Qantas Points per $1 spend on all other purchases^[#]
• Once you spend $5,000 in a statement cycle, you will earn 0.2 Qantas Points per $1 on further eligible purchases.^[#]

Eligibility and what you'll need

You must be

• Aged 18 or over AND

• Live at a fixed Australian address AND

• Receive a regular and verifiable Australian taxable income AND

• Meet ONE of the following three requirements

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen OR
  • Be an Australian permanent resident OR
  • Hold a valid temporary residence visa with a minimum of 1 year before expiry. Refer to eligible Australian visa
