Westpac Altitude credit cards offer you a choice between three great rewards programs - Altitude Rewards, Altitude Velocity or Altitude Qantas.

Our Black cards offer our highest level of rewards. You can choose to earn Altitude Points, Velocity Points or Qantas Points on our Altitude Black cards.

  • Altitude Points – earn Altitude Points[#] and you can redeem your points on over 2,000 rewards including premium brand and lifestyle products, gift vouchers and frequent flyer points in a range of airline programs
  • Qantas Points – earn Qantas Points[#] and you can redeem your points for flights and upgrades (where available) on Qantas, Jetstar and 35 partner airlines, and Qantas Store items. A $75 annual Altitude Qantas Rewards Program fee applies.
  • Velocity Points – earn Velocity Points and you can redeem your points for flights and upgrades, fuel, care hire or hotel stays, or a choice of rewards at the Velocity Rewards Store. A $75 annual Altitude Velocity Rewards Program fee applies.[#]

Earning Altitude Points

With an Altitude Points earning card, you can earn Altitude Points with every eligible purchases and redeem them for premium brands and lifestyle products, gift cards and frequent flyer points in a range of airline programs.

  • 2 Altitude points per $1 on international spend
  • 1.25 Altitude points per $1 on everyday spend
  • 1 Altitude point per $1 spend on all other purchases[#]

Once you spend $5,000 in a statement cycle, you will earn 0.5 Altitude points per $1 on further eligible purchases[#].
  • 3 Altitude points per $1 on international spend
  • 2 Altitude points per $1 on everyday spend
  • 1 Altitude point per $1 spend on all other purchases[#]

Once you spend $10,000 in a statement cycle, you will earn 0.5 Altitude points per $1 on further eligible purchases[#].

With a Velocity Points earning card, you can redeem your points for flights and upgrades, fuel, care hire or hotel stays, or a choice of rewards at the Velocity Rewards Store.

What is included in the everyday spend category?

Here are some examples of stores that are included in our everyday spend category.

  • Supermarkets include stores such as Woolworths, Coles, IGA, Harris Farm and ALDI.
  • Department stores include stores such as Kmart, Target, Big W, David Jones and Myer.
  • Petrol stations include stores such as 7-Eleven, Shell, Ampol, Caltex and BP.
  • Dining includes restaurants, cafes, fast food, bars, hotels and entertainment venues.
  • Utilities include payments for water, gas, electricity, internet, mobile and streaming services (excluding BPAY® payments.)
What is a statement cycle?
The period from one statement date to the next statement date is called the monthly statement cycle. The statement date is the date your statement is issued.
When do points expire?
  • Altitude points have no expiry date as long as you have an Altitude account
  • Once your account is closed you have 90 days to redeem your Altitude Points
  • The expiry of Velocity Points, Qantas Points and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles is determined by the airlines’ terms and conditions. Please visit their websites for details.

Qantas Rewards Points: The earning and redemption of Qantas Points are subject to the Altitude Terms and Conditions. Purchases that are not eligible to earn Rewards Points are set out in the Altitude Terms and Conditions. You do not receive points if you have not paid the Minimum Payment Due in full and on time and in other circumstances. Points earnt for PartPay Purchases are based on the full value of the purchase, and not on each instalment amount. Qantas Points earned during a statement cycle are added to your respective Points balance on a monthly basis.

Altitude Qantas: In order to earn and redeem points, you must be a member of the relevant Frequent Flyer program. An annual $75 Rewards Program Fee applies for customers who choose this option.

Velocity Rewards Points: The earning and redemption of Velocity Points are subject to the Altitude Terms and Conditions.
