Establish merchant facilities

New digital forms

Westpac have launched new digital forms for an efficient, easy and fast experience.

Find out more about the experience to start.

Merchant facilities can be established should your school wish to accept credit card and debit card payments.

Three merchant facilities are available:

  1. EFTPOS – Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale. A compact machine for processing credit card and debit card payments received in person, over the phone or via paper. The credit or debit card can be swiped or keyed in manually.
  2. PayWay – An internet-based facility to process credit card payments received over the phone or via paper, providing instant credit card validation and daily reporting of transactions. PayWay is ideal for schools where large volumes (over 200 per month) of credit card payments are processed.
