Changes to the school's name, address or phone number

Change of principal’s details

When a new principal starts at a school, there are several steps that need to be followed:

Step 1

Identification requirements. This is commonly completed at a local Westpac office.  If the principal has already been identified with Westpac this does not need to be done again.

Step 2

Set up a new Verifying Officer. The principal will need to complete the Nomination for a verifying officer form (PDF 108KB) . This document allows you to key directly onto it. Please print the document once complete and sign where required.

Step 3

Update the Notice of Authority.  The principal will need to be added as a signatory to the school accounts. This can be done by completing the  Notification of Changes to a customer's persons authorised - ACT government form (PDF 302KB). This document allows you to key directly onto it. Please print once completed and sign where required.

Step 4

Update Corporate Online access. Any amendment on Corporate Online will be managed by the ACT Education and Training Directorate on your behalf.
