About the Royal Commission

The Federal Government has established a Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry.

For information regarding the Royal Commission, including its focus areas or ‘Terms of Reference’, please visit the Commission’s website at: financialservices.royalcommission.gov.au.

Our approach

Westpac Group is committed to working with the Royal Commission to achieve positive outcomes for customers. Our approach is one of transparency and openness.

We will acknowledge where we’ve got it wrong, and the steps we’ve taken to put it right and make sure that the issues don’t recur.

Public submissions

The Royal Commission is inviting public submissions about various issues in the banking, superannuation or financial services industry. The Commission is asking for submissions on misconduct, culture, governance and other practices, effectiveness of redress for consumers, or any other changes that you would like the Commission to recommend.

Making a submission

You can make a submission to the Royal Commission via their online form. This can be found by going to: financialservices.royalcommission.gov.au/Public-submissions.

If you are having difficulty using the form, require an accessible format, or need further information about the Royal Commission, you can email FSRCenquiries@royalcommission.gov.au or call 1800 909 826.
