Confirm your identity

If you already have, you can skip this step. If not, you’ll need to confirm your identity to access your account(s).

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Collect the documents you need.

Step 2.
Set up Westpac Live

Westpac Live is our version of online banking. It’s the secure and convenient way to stay in control of your finances.

Depending on where you’re up to:

  1. If you have already registered for Westpac Live, you’ll need your 8 digit Customer Number and Password.
  2. If not, you’ll need your activated card or account number and your mobile phone number to get set up.
  3. You can also register via the Westpac Mobile Banking app by tapping the top left menu, then Register.

Step 3.
Set up Mobile Banking

Mobile Banking lets you conveniently access and control your accounts wherever you are, 24 hours a day.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Download the app.
  2. Sign in using your Customer Number and Password.
  3. Enjoy controlling all your banking needs right from your phone.

Step 4.
Activate your card

Before you can use your card, you will need to activate it and set a PIN.  

It’ll take 2 minutes:

  1. Activate your card in online or mobile banking.
  2. Set a PIN and you’re good to go.

Step 5.
Contact us

If you need to get in touch, the fastest and most convenient way is to use the Westpac Mobile Banking app. Look for the Contact Us button when you log in. Or call us on 13 20 32.

The two fastest ways to contact us:

  1. Contact us through the Mobile Banking app, or
  2. Call us on 132 142.
