How to connect or disconnect bank feeds
Stay up to date by connecting your bank feeds to your accounting software.
You can authorise Westpac to connect your transaction details to registered Third Party Service Providers via Westpac Live. This feature in Westpac Live means that you can connect or disconnect bank feeds online - saving you time and effort.
Note: Bank feed must be set up with Third Party Service Provider before it can be connected in Westpac Live. If your Third Party Service Provider does not appear in the drop down menu in Westpac Live, you may need to check that your provider is registered with Westpac.
Should there be any changes in your user access or network access levels, you may need to disconnect your bank feed(s) as any access changes will not impact bank feeds.
Navigate over to Services & preferences and select Services.
In the Service section navigate to Account services and select Bank Feeds.
To connect a feed:
When navigated to the page Connect feed is displayed by default, select an account or multiple and then select the To third party service provider. Once completed, select Connect feed.
Note: not all accounts are eligible to be included in a feed. These include loan accounts and accounts requiring multiple authorisations for transactions.
To Disconnect a feed:
Select the Disconnect feed tab, select an account or multiple and then select the To third party service provider. Once completed, select Disconnect feed.
