Eligibility for eStatements

To enjoy all the benefits of eStatements, you must:

  1. Have an eligible account or accounts
  2. Be registered for Westpac Online Banking
  3. Have a valid email address registered to your business in Online Banking.

How to switch to eStatements

If you are an Administrator of a business or a Sole Trader, you can manage your business’s statements online – choosing which accounts you want eStatements for.

  1. Log in to Westpac Online Banking from a PC
  2. Hover over Service and select Preferences
  3. Under Statements, select the account and choose the type of statement you would like to receive by selecting either eStatement or Paper statement.

If an account is not eligible for eStatements, only the paper statement option will be shown.

You may view eStatements for any eligible account that you have access to (including as an authorised third party) via Westpac Online Banking.

Please note: Business loans are not eligible for eStatements.

More than 1 approver for administration tasks?

If your online banking is set up to have more than one approver to perform administration tasks, any changes to your statement settings will need to be approved by all the Administrators for the account(s).

If you need to approve an administration task:

  1. Log in to Westpac Online Banking from a PC
  2. Click on the Approval button near the Sign out button
  3. Select the Account tab, where you will see statement settings pending approval.
