What is PayWay?
PayWay allows you to sign in to our secure internet solution and seamlessly manage customer payments. It gives you a choice of modules to streamline collect payments. You can choose the combination that best suits your business.
PayWay Surcharging Plus
PayWay allows you to apply surcharges to credit cards and recurring bank account direct debit transactions. PayWay even has the ability to surcharge to a different nominated account. This is particularly suited to businesses where trust accounts are involved.
PayWay Reporting and Management Information
All PayWay modules incorporate extensive reporting and management options. Take advantage of:
- An export capability to store transaction, customer and event histories in your own systems
- A full audit history including your customisation requests
- Trend reports as far back as 2 years, available either as pdfs or as raw data for analysis.
If you currently accept payments via a Westpac BPAY® or an Australia Post facility, PayWay allows you to receive your reporting through a single system.
PayWay Security and User Management
Manage staff access to PayWay and which tasks can be performed, thus ensuring proper separation of duties.
Amend or suspend a user's access and rights if their job situation changes. Special security questions giving extra protection.

PayWay Net allows you to automatically accept credit card payments from customers via a Westpac hosted website.
There are 3 options which can be used.
- Bill payments on your own site via a simple link into your website
- Bill payments at www.payway.com.au where your business does not require a website
- Bill payments / shopping cart where your website passes across the amount and other information, for example product purchases
Customers see just 3 screens which can be customised with your company details.
PayWay also has the ability to accept PayPal payments via your PayWay facility. You simply link your existing PayPal business facility into PayWay for an integrated payment channel and reporting. Customers then make their payment in moments and receive a receipt number as you receive real time authorisation on the funds.
PayWay Recurring Billing
PayWay Recurring Billing lets you set and forget the automatic collection of regular recurring payments. Variable payments can be processed with an upload file.
You can process both credit card and bank account transactions without sending a file to the bank each time. The same wizard approach helps you arrange and manage standard plans.
Reduce your admin workload with automatic retry when payments fail. Make reconciliation easy with comprehensive transaction reporting.
PayWay Batch Payments
PayWay lets you update a batch file of credit payments. This also includes system generated batch files. PayWay Batch is a simple, straightforward process that allows you to upload various supported formats.
Simply attach the relevant supported batch file and select upload. PayWay will then ensure the file is compatible before you authorise the payment process.
PayWay API (Application Programmer Interface)
Integrate PayWay's credit card processing functions into your own call centre system, website or other software with PayWay API.
Your software developers login to PayWay and access technical information so they can develop an integrated solution for you.
Software integration is available for Java, .NET, ASP, SOAP and PHP. Your developers can also access all the related security set ups and certificates.
PayWay Virtual Terminal
Allow your staff to collect payments by credit card and receive real time authorisation without the need to implement any software. Just log in to PayWay and choose Transactions.
Process ad hoc payments immediately. Or search and view previous transaction details to respond to customer queries. You can even arrange refunds or pre-authorisations.
