Presto Smart – pairing your POS

To get started with Presto Smart, you'll need to pair your Westpac terminal with your point of sale (POS).
Find step-by-step instructions below.

Abacus

Unpairing your payment terminal

  1. Press the green Enter button and the numerical button 3 at the same time
  2. The option to unpair will appear on the payment terminal screen. Select Unpair and that’s it.
     

Unpairing your POS

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab in your Abacus POS and select Payment
  2. Select the UNPAIR option, and that’s it.

  1. From the EFTPOS menu select Westpac EFTPOS settings
  2. Click on Unpair.

  3. Select Westpac Pairing

  2. Right click the program called payment agent
  3. Select unpair.

  4. On the terminal press enter + 3 to open unpairing menu

  2. Select EFTPOS DIAGS
  3. Select Westpac Group Settings
  4. Select unpair.

  1. From the main menu click on Settings, then click on Payment types
  2. Click on Westpac Group. This displays the Westpac Group Payment settings screen
  3. Click Unpair.

idealpos

Unpairing your POS

  1. On the POS, go to Setup> POS Terminals > Select: POS Terminal > Modify > EFTPOS Settings > Pairing: POS. Press the 'Unpair' button to unpair the pinpad from the POS terminal
  2. After pressing the Unpair button, another screen will appear in idealpos, displaying instructions on how to complete the final step to unpair the pinpad
  3. The pinpad will then show 'Disconnected from POS'.

Unpairing your payment terminal

  1. Press the 3 and Enter keys on the Pinpad at the same time to continue to unpair the Pinpad.

  2. Click on Card Link in the side navigation

  3. Click on Add-ons
  4. Select Pair Westpac Device option

  2. Click on Unpair button on the Partner_Payment window
  3. Status change to "Unpaired".

  1. Click on LinkPOS app on the screen
  2. Enter valid credentials and login to the app
  3. Click on Setting option on the home page and then again setting option in EFTPOS section
  4. Click on Unpair button 
  5. Click on OK button on the unpairing successful pop.

  1. From the Tools menu click on Maintain Terminals
  2. Enter the Admin password
  3. In the Administrator column select Assembly Payments from the drop down, then click on the ... (dots)
  4. Click the Unpair button in the Eftpos Settings pop-up.

  1. On the main screen click on Admin in the top right
  2. Click on the blue > button on the left hand side of the screen. This opens the main menu
  3. Scroll down and click on Configuration in the System section
  4. Click on the Payment Method tab
  5. Click Unpair.

Should the EFTPOS terminal remain paired, press Enter + 3 on the EFTPOS terminal to complete unpairing process.

  7. The existing status should be "Paired and Connected", Click on Unpair and select Ok in Unpairing complete popup
  8. Click on OK and save button twice to come out of the Tools menu.
