How do I know if I'm eligible for the $50?
You will be receiving the $50 cashback if:
- You have not held any transaction or savings account with the brand you are applying with in the past 2 years.
- You open both a transaction account (Choice Youth) AND a savings account (Bump or eSaver). Both accounts must be in the same name.
- Open both accounts and deposit $50 or more into your Westpac Choice transaction account within 10 calendar days.
- You are all done! Within 60 days you will see a payment in your account which will appear as "WBC DOUBLE YOU".
When will I receive the $50 cashback?
The $50 cashback will be paid within 60 calendar days after all eligibility criteria have been met.
The cashback will be deposited into your new savings account and will appear as 'WBC DOUBLE YOU' in the transaction description.
What if I deposit the $50 in multiple smaller deposits?
Yes, this still qualifies as long as the total is $50 or more and all deposits are processed by day 10. For example, if you deposit $10 on Day 3, $30 on Day 7, and $10 on Day 8, this would be considered eligible as the total amount deposited within the 10-day period equals $50.
I deposited $50 on day 10, but it was still pending. Am I still eligible?
No. The deposit must be fully processed (not pending) by the end of the 10th calendar day.
