Westpac Foundation has awarded a total $1.2 million to four social enterprises creating jobs and training opportunities for people overcoming barriers to work.

$1.25 million investment in jobs and training

Westpac Foundation has awarded $1.25 million in grants to over 100 social enterprises and not-for-profits who are creating job opportunities and providing training and education to enhance employment readiness for people experiencing disadvantage.

Helping for 140 years

Westpac Foundation is a charitable organisation that has been helping people for the past 140 years.

Today, we provide funding and programs to support social enterprises and community organisations creating jobs and opportunities for people overcoming barriers to work. Our mission is to help social enterprises create 10,000 jobs by 2030.

Things you should know


Public donations to Westpac Foundation are administered by Westpac Community Limited as trustee for Westpac Community Trust (ABN 53 265 036 982). Westpac Community Trust is a Public Ancillary Fund, endorsed by the ATO as a Deductible Gift Recipient.
 

Policies
 

The Westpac Foundation adopts the Westpac Group Speaking Up Policy in dealing with whistleblowing disclosures.  A copy of that policy can be viewed here: Westpac Group 'Speaking Up' Policy (PDF 315KB). Some aspects of that policy may not be applicable in the operational environment of the Westpac Foundation.  As such, the Westpac Foundation adopts the Westpac Group Speaking Up Policy to the extent reasonably possible.
