Culture, Governance and Accountability

In 2018 Westpac Group completed a Culture, Governance and Accountability (CGA) self-assessment examining the Group’s risk culture, governance and accountability frameworks and practices, and the impact they have on the management of non-financial risks.
 

Since providing the CGA self-assessment to APRA, Westpac has established a program to oversee implementation of the recommendations. The response program is being led by Group Chief Risk Officer, David Stephen, and is overseen by the Board.
