Meet Ivan from Group Tech. After starting out as a Superannuation Administrator, I've spent my time here in various roles that suited my interests, passions and working style. I love that I've been given so many opportunities to try new careers within the Westpac Group. Currently I'm Head of ITSM Technology and Automation at Westpac Group.
Most people don't believe me when I tell them I wake up around 4am most days… I use this time to either go to the gym or do some work from home before leaving to travel in to work. I usually leave work early in the afternoon with my wife, who also works at Westpac, which means we get some good quality time at home together.
I've definitely made the most of being a Westpac employee. I used Study Assistance to do an MBA, I have a home loan and other banking products with Westpac and St George (for discounted rates) and we even used our staff benefits with Specsavers when buying prescription glasses.
