And while we've grown up as a company and our family has gotten bigger, our goals haven't changed. A 200 year old start-up

As Australia's first and oldest bank, we have a long and proud history. After starting up in 1817 as the Bank of New South Wales, we've grown the company and expanded both in Australia and throughout Asia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Now Westpac Group is made up of your favourite financial institution names including Westpac, BankSA, St.George Bank, BT Financial Group, RAMs and Bank of Melbourne.
