Am I eligible?

To be eligible to apply for a Westpac Personal loan, you must:

• Be a permanent Australian resident, aged 18 years or over, with a regular permanent income.

What information do I need? 

When completing the application, you will need to provide:

• Your current Australian driver's licence details (if you have one)
• Details of your current financial situation
• Your contact details including email address.

How can I apply?

• Fixed rate Westpac Personal Loan
• Variable rate Westpac Flexi Loan

  Over the phone by calling 1300 720 697 (Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat-Sun 8am-6pm Sydney time). We give conditional approval immediately and a final decision as soon as we receive all required information.

What happens next?

Online applicants receive a reference number. Your contract documents and instructions will then be sent to your nominated email address or a personal loans specialist will contact you if further information is needed. Once completed, funds are either credited directly to your account or provided by a bank cheque.

Phone applicants discuss requirements with a personal loans specialist, provide documentation and confirmation as needed and then nominate to receive your documents via email or post. Your contract documents and instructions will then be sent to your nominated email or postal address. Once completed, funds are either credited directly to your account or provided by a bank cheque.
