What you need to know or compile before you apply

View a check list to ensure you have all necessary information at hand before applying. Importantly, you'll need a:

  • Permanent monthly income, which can be verified
  • Good credit history with no bankruptcies
  • Your Australian drivers licence number (if you have one)
  • Details of your current financial commitments
  • Your email address.

What happens next?

Online applicants receive a reference number. A personal loans specialist will then contact you if confirmation is needed and ask you to nominate a Westpac branch to collect your contract. Once signed, funds are either credited directly to your account or provided by a bank cheque.
