Residential Home and Contents Insurance is for home owners, tenants and owners of weekender/holiday homes in Australia.
Landlord Home and Contents Insurance insurance is available for landlords whose property is casually let or on a long-term lease.

What happens next?
Online applicants download a copy of the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Schedule once complete. We then send you a confirmation email stating that the level of cover selected is in place.
If you apply over the phone, we help you complete the application and provide a quote. Then, if you're happy with the quote and meet the policy's eligibility requirements, we forward the Product Disclosure Statement and Policy schedule.
Things you should know
- The features and benefits contained in the Westpac Home & Contents Insurance Product Disclosure Statement including policy wording (dated 3 October 2009), are available to new customers from 3 October 2009 and first become available to existing Home & Contents Insurance customers upon the next renewal of their policy on or after 3 October 2009.
- This insurance product is issued by Westpac General Insurance Limited ABN 99 003 719 319 (WGIL) and distributed by Westpac Banking Corporation ABN 33 007 457 141(the Bank). This policy is subject to conditions, limits and exclusions on cover, which are explained in the policy wording. No Westpac Group company (other than the Bank as policy distributor and WGIL) has any liability in connection with the policy or this information. In some states, the Domestic Workers Compensation cover is issued and guaranteed only by Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850.
