Accounts for my day to day banking
How can I get the most out of my transaction account?
If you use the right access methods and set up automated payments it’ll keep your banking costs down and take the hassle out of managing your day to day finances.
What types of payment can I set up?
Salary credit
You can have your salary credited directly into your account. It’ll save you having to deposit the funds yourself and you’ll know that you have funds coming into your account regularly to cover your cash withdrawals and other payments.
Automatic debits
You can also save time and hassle by setting up automatic debits, to pay things like your bills and rent. Once you’ve set up the payment you don’t have to do anything and you’ll have the security of knowing you won’t forget any payments.
You can even set up payments to a savings account so you stash money away before you even miss it.
You can set up your automatic debits through:
- Our Telephone Banking service
- One of our branches.
Card Autopay
You can also use Card Autopay to make automatic payments on your credit card each month. You won’t have to remember to make the payment, and it’ll help you avoid the risk of paying late fees and extra interest charges. It’s your choice whether to pay off a fixed amount, or to pay the full amount outstanding each month.
Set up Card Autopay by:
- Calling 1300 651 089, or
