Rescue services

Westpac has been helping to save lives for more than three decades through our support of rescue services and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service. We have now expanded this relationship to a national partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) which commenced in 2007 and kicked off with the Year of the Surf Lifesaver.

Our partnership with SLSA and our sponsorship of the Westpac State Nipper Championships underpin our ongoing commitment to generations of Australians.

Westpac provides financial support to SLSA to help them operate a viable service free of charge to the community. We also help raise awareness and funds through in-branch campaigns.
