Aurora the Community Channel

Aurora is Foxtel's Community Channel and a not-for profit organisation. Aurora's objective is to inform, entertain and inspire action on community causes, issues and interests.

Each month they highlight different causes and raise awareness through dedicated programming made both for and by Australian community groups. As well as the television channel, viewers can visit the Aurora website to network, volunteer, or learn more about the communities around us.

In October 2006, Westpac signed up for a year long sponsorship of Aurora. The partnership fits well with the type of community activities Westpac is involved with. It also enables Westpac to give causes it cares about support via a community television channel, as well as supporting the channel itself and its philosophy.
