Rescue services

Every day, people find themselves in situations where they need to be rescued. It can happen to anyone. The first 60 minutes after an accident occurs are the most critical to the patient's survival.

Many Westpac employees volunteer for the State Emergency Services, Rural Fire Brigades and other emergency services.

Westpac has been supporting rescue services for more than 30 years. We have sponsorship arrangements with rescue service organisations in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
