Protect yourself online

The Australian Bankers' Association (ABA), in partnership with the Australian High Tech Crime Centre (AHTCC) has launched an important information campaign in relation to cyber crime.

The campaign warns customers about the dangers of disclosing confidential information, such as online banking sign in details. It also reveals the steps you can take to minimise risks when you're online.

The campaign will focus on various themes over the coming weeks by way of relevant fact sheets. The final fact sheet, 'Small Business Protection' is now available.

Westpac supports this initiative and we recommend you visit the ABA site or AHTCC site to read more about it. We will be updating our site with news of the campaign over the next month, so make sure you keep checking to receive the latest information.
