When did Westpac list on the Australian Stock Exchange?
The Bank of New South Wales, which became Westpac Banking Corporation in 1982, was listed on the Sydney Stock Exchange in 1871. Prior to that date, the Bank of New South Wales appeared on the lists of private stockbrokers.
