General Disclosure Statements
As Westpac operates two banks in New Zealand, it must produce two General Disclosure Statements each quarter to meet the RBNZ's regulatory requirements:
Westpac New Zealand's General Disclosure Statements contain required information (including financial statements) for that bank and its subsidiaries.
NZ Branch's General Disclosure Statements require broader disclosure, namely information (including financial statements) for all of Westpac Banking Corporation's New Zealand operations. Financial statements specific to the operation of the NZ Branch are shown separately in the March and September quarter General Disclosure Statements.
General Disclosure Statements for Westpac New Zealand Limited (WNZL)
The General Disclosure Statement for Westpac New Zealand for the three months ended 31 December 2006 inadvertantly omitted one paragraph of the Westpac New Zealand conditions of registration. The full conditions of registration are set out in the document Amendment to Westpac New Zealand General Disclosure Statement (PDF 43kb)
