Link to Westpac
If you are the owner or administrator of a website and wish to link your site to Westpac's website, you are required to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and confirm that you understand and accept them before completing our agreement form. Once you have completed this form, and subject to Westpac's acceptance of the agreement form and your offer to link to our website, you will have access to Westpac's approved logos for use on your website.
Terms and conditions
1. Westpac Trade marks
1.1 Westpac Banking Corporation ("Westpac") is the owner of, amongst other things, the trade mark red W and the copyright subsisting in its websites. Other than in accordance with the limited licence granted in this agreement, you are not authorised to use Westpac's logos and copyright material. Linking to Westpac's sites does not give you any right, title or interest in Westpac's trade marks or sites.
2. Linking to Westpac's site
2.1 All links from your site to the Westpac site must only be to one of the following pages:

Westpac in the PacificYou must not link to any other page on the Westpac site.
3. Westpac logos and authorised text
3.1 Subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement, and Westpac's acceptance of your request to link to our site, Westpac grants to you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Westpac logos made available to you through this agreement for use on your website for the purpose of indicating a hyperlink to Westpac's site.
3.2 You must use only the logos made available through this agreement for your link to the Westpac pages listed above. You may not use or copy the logos (in whole or in part) for any other purpose and, in particular, you must not use the logos on a feature or design of, or incorporate it in whole or in part, in any other logo or graphic.
3.3 The logos must be used only in the form provided by Westpac through this agreement unless subsequently changed by Westpac. In particular, you must use the logos only in the size, shape and colours in which they are provided. You must not alter, amend, redraw, distort, animate or tamper with any logo in any way. This includes any white space surrounding the logo.
3.4 If you link to Westpac pages listed above using hypertext link(s), you must only use the text as it appears in clause 2 above for your link. You may not add or modify the text in anyway and must use the whole text in your hypertext link.
4. Other trade marks, logos, text and artwork
4.1 You must not use any other trade mark, text or artwork as, or as part of, your link to Westpac's site.
5. Positioning of the logo and link
5.1 Subject to our approval, you may place the link and the Westpac logo on your site as long as it complies with this agreement and the following rules:
5.1.1 The link and logo must not appear in close proximity to any other trade mark, graphic or text.
5.1.2 The link and logo must not be positioned in any way that may mistakenly imply that Westpac endorses, sponsors or is in any way related to you, your site or any products related to your site.
5.1.3 Your site must not contain any material that disparages Westpac or its goods and services.
5.1.4 Your site must not contain the following: - Illegal, sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise offensive or distasteful material
- Content promoting gaming, wagering or betting sites
- Instructions on the manufacture and/or use of illegal drugs, or other dangerous materials
- Material that promotes harassment, hatred or discrimination based on age, race, religion, gender, sexual preference or any other factor
- Defamatory, disparaging, abusive, threatening or offensive messages (whether aimed at Westpac or a third party)
- False or misleading information about the products and services of Westpac or a member of the Westpac Group
6. No alteration
6.1 You agree not to transfer, or attempt to transfer, any material, viruses or code to the Westpac site that could cause damage or harm to the site or in any way impede the security of Westpac's site. You may not attempt to alter the Westpac site.
7. Additional terms
7.1 In addition to the other terms outlined in this agreement, the licence granted to you under clause 3.1, and link from your site to Westpac's site, are subject to your site complying with the following conditions:- You must comply will all relevant laws in any applicable jurisdiction
- Your site must not replicate the content of the Westpac site
- You must not frame any part of Westpac's site
- Your link must be made in good faith and must not be established in a way that blocks or prevents the display of any part of Westpac's website
- You must not mistakenly imply that Westpac, or any member of the Westpac Group, endorses your product, service or organisation
Your use of, and access to, Westpac's website must be in accordance with the website Terms and Conditions available on Westpac's home page at http://www.westpac.com.au for Westpac Australia and for Westpac in the Pacific on the home page of each country, as amended from time to time. To the extent of any inconsistency between those Terms and Conditions and the terms of this agreement, this agreement shall prevail.
8. Disclaimer
8.1 To the extent permitted by law, neither Westpac, nor any other company in the Westpac Group of companies (including all related bodies corporate), will be liable for any loss or damage from any cause (including negligence) to your site and system, or to people linking to us from your site(s), caused by or in connection with your link to Westpac's site. If you create a link to Westpac's site, you remain fully responsible for any consequences of that link, whether direct or indirect and you will protect Westpac against all loss, damage, liability, cost or expense arising from or in connection with the link.
9. Indemnity
9.1 You agree to indemnify Westpac and keep it indemnified against all actions, claims, costs, demands, damages or liability arising in any manner from a breach by you of the terms of this agreement.
10. Changes to this agreement
9.1 Westpac may change the terms of this agreement and the logo at any time and solely at its discretion. If possible, Westpac will try to notify you of any such changes.
11. Termination of agreement/removal of link and logo
11.1 Westpac reserves the right, solely at its discretion, to request removal of your link and the logo at any time. It also reserves the right to review your link and use of the logo, pursuant to which you agree to provide any necessary passwords.
11.2 Without limiting clause 11.1, if in its sole discretion Westpac considers that your link or use of the logo does not comply with this agreement, you must correct the deficiency within seven days of notice from Westpac. Failure to comply with a request or notice may result in termination of your permission to use the mark and may result in legal proceedings being commenced against you.
11.3 If Westpac issues a request in accordance with clause 11.1 or 11.2, upon your receipt of such request you agree to immediately remove all logos or other graphics provided to you by Westpac under this agreement from your website and any other locations or materials on which the logos or graphics have been included.
