Step 2: Download the SSCM Code of Conduct Toolkit
You must first download and save the SSCM Code of Conduct Toolkit before completing its tasks. Opening the file straight from the website may disable some of its functionality.
For Microsoft Office 2007 users: ensure you always save the file in a Microsoft Excel 2003 compatible format. Saving the file in another format will also disable its functionality.
A Certificate of Compliance with the SSCM Code of Conduct, valid for 1 year.
Please provide all requested information and record your responses within the boxes provided in the spreadsheet. Guidelines and reference material are available in the Toolkit to assist in answering the questions.
Step 4: Forward completed SSCM Code of Conduct Toolkit to Westpac
Email the completed SSCM Code of Conduct Toolkit to SSCM@westpac.com.au. The SSCM team at Westpac will evaluate your response and contact you if you are identified as a higher risk and/or high spend supplier to Westpac.
Improving sustainability performance – Remedial Action Plans (RAPs)
A RAP template is built into the SSCM Code of Conduct Toolkit and includes a broad list of possible continuous improvement activities for suppliers with gaps in sustainability performance. These gaps are to be remedied within the first 12 months of signing a contract with Westpac.
Suppliers are responsible for preparing a RAP and should put forward other and more specific activities wherever possible.
Contact the SSCM team
Send an email to SSCM@westpac.com.au or contact the Westpac representative responsible for your RFP or contract negotiation process.
Please note that these SSCM materials may be viewed by companies not actively involved in supply chain discussions with Westpac, however un-solicited SSCM assessments should not be forwarded to Westpac for review or scoring.
